Hinomaru Sumo

Sometimes you have to take a step back from what popping and watch something random. That’s exactly what I did and it paid off because Hinomaru Sumo is a super fun anime.

It ceases to amaze me that anime can make anything look cool even sumo which is as unconventional as they come in sports anime. I loved learning about the sport and way of life. Even though this anime was very predictable but the content loop worked for me.

It gave me classic Saturday morning anime vibes. The only thing that I wish we could have seen were flashbacks to the main character's initial training arc that left scars but who knows maybe we see more of that in hopefully a season two.
